Josh is the founder and owner of Nunez & Associates, P.C. His post-secondary education began at Texas Tech University. He holds two degrees from Texas Tech, one in biochemistry and the other in mathematics. Josh is an avid fan of Texas Tech college football.
Josh studied law at both Texas Tech University and Arizona Summit Law School. While at Arizona Summit Law School, Josh became an executive board member of the prestigious and exclusive Law Review.
Josh is licensed to practice in all Arizona State Courts as well as all Federal Immigration Courts across the country.
Josh grew up in West Texas where his parents still live. His upbringing heavily influences Josh’s philosophy on the practice of law. His father is the pastor of Levelland’s Apostolic Assembly church. Because of his upbringing as the son of a preacher, Josh practices law with utmost integrity and a service-to-others oriented approach.
In 2006 and 2007, Josh completed fellowships at the Morehouse School of Medicine and the Texas Senate State Affairs Committee, respectively. In both instances, Josh focused his time and energy on policy. Since then, Josh has become an advocate for policies that protect workers.
Josh enjoys playing indoor soccer and is fanatic about the soccer club Cruz Azul as well as the San Francisco 49ers. Josh is the proud father of Bentley and the proud husband of Vanessa Costilla, M.D. Together; the family enjoys grassroots politics and small-town burger venues.
